Connor Patsel

I have a strong interest in the fields of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, web development and game development. In addition to my work in computer science, I also enjoy making music.

Took classes in software engineering, mobile app development, data science, and communications, among others. Participated in study abroad student exchange and studied at University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK. Student member of IEEE, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, and Association for Computing Machinery.

Showdown Bot

A simple AI designed to battle Pokemon on the simulator Pokemon Showdown. Written in C# in conjunction with the Selenium Webdriver library.

Predicting Movie Revenue

Using various machine learning algorithms and a dataset of around 10,000 movies, my team and I attempted to model movie gross revenue.

Practice Tracker

Django web app created in an agile development environment. Geared towards sports organizations, it helps keep track of practices and drills for the group members.

Communication Dice

Prototype design for a tangible device. The device's goal was to enable a means of communication to supplement traditional messaging systems.
